WAFTA – Altered States exhibition at the Painted Tree Gallery, Northcliffe, September 2018

TESTIMONIAL

Altered States generated terrific community appreciation for the ingenuity of human imagination and skill. Nearly 50 carefully-crafted responses to the challenge of creating artworks from a set list of materials supplied in a bag (such as alpaca wool, guitar string and bling) are beautifully presented on custom-made display stands’. People of all ages would stand fascinated for great lengths of time before the wide variety of artworks, marveling at the creativity and technical dexterity evident within the WAFTA membership. It is an accessible and fascinating show, inviting repeat visits.”

“This exhibition was our first opportunity to connect with WAFTA and it has been a very rewarding experience. We can recommend Altered States to all galleries, large or small.”

Fiona Sinclair (Artistic Director / General Manager / Secretary – Southern Forest Arts)
