“We shape our buildings…thereafter, they shape us”  Winston Churchill 10 May, 1941
Spaces have memory and physical artefacts help us to remember. Originally a walnut farm, my work explores the home I now inhabit. Primarily architectural, I am fascinated by the ambiguous angles of the original quintessential Australian farmhouse, with its extended verandas skirting the solid structure; the sunlit interiors, its iconic led light features; and the old polished jarrah floor boards.

Together, a conglomerate of reflections, shadows and multipoint perspectives combining the interior and exterior, the viewer is invited to peer thought the cracks of the interior to the organic past, the land on which this home was built.
