Hollow
Hollow
oil paint, stems & leaves (Maple), cotton thread, paper, timber.
Documentation of a large maple tree in central Albany. Examining the tree, a hollow was discovered in the centre, the heartwood eaten away and a void created. This is the archive of the comparison of the relentless renewal of leaves and stems with the internal emptiness.
